-1 tbsp baking powder
-1 1/2 cup flour
-1 tsp salt
-1 tbsp sugar
-3 tbsp butter
-1 1/4 cups milk
In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
Whisk in milk and egg until combined. Then add in butter. (Batter will be slightly lumpy)
Allow batter to rest for about 8-10 minutes. This will allow the batter to thicken slightly.
On a hot pan or griddle (350F), pour out pancakes and let cook until bubbles appear on the top and edges start to look dry (about 2-3 minutes).
Flip pancakes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown on both sides. Remove from heat and serve hot with your favorite choice of toppings. Enjoy!
