WAB:E Tea

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 tbsp/15.5 mL turmeric powder

  • 2 tbsp/30 mL coconut oil

  • 1-inch ginger, grated or chopped

  • 1/2 tsp/5 mL cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp/15 mL almond butter

  • 1 tsp/5 mL vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp/15 mL honey or maple syrup (you can add more)

  • pinch of sea salt

  • pinch of cardamom

  • pinch of black pepper

  • 16 oz just boiled water


DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat coconut oil in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add ginger, ground turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom, and black pepper and stir, cooking spices until very fragrant, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

  2. Add everything into a blender and the almond butter, vanilla extract, a pinch of sea salt, and boiled water. Blend on high until it's bright yellow and creamy.

  3. Enjoy immediately and say hello to a restful night's sleep.
