Mint Choco Latte

Prep time: 10 minutes


-2/3 cup milk

-2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

-3 tbsp mint syrup (homemade or store bought)

-1 oz espresso*

-whipped cream and chocolate shavings, to garnish

*Mint syrup

-1 cup sugar

-1 cup water

-1 cup fresh mint


*For homemade mint syrup: In a small pot, combine the sugar, water and fresh mint. Bring to a boil for about 5-8 minutes. Turn off the heat and cover to allow to steep for 1 hour. Strain and place in a resealable container in the refrigerator before use.


-In a small lidded pot, whisk together milk, cocoa and milk syrup until hot and slightly foamy. Pour into a mug with espresso. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

*Note: can substitute with 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee.
