1 cup milk
1/2 cup water
3 tsp sugar
2 tsp black tea granules
2 whole cloves
2 green cardamom
1/2-inch cinnamon stick
1 star anise
4 whole black pepper
pinch of nutmeg
Using a food processor or mortar and pestle, take all of the ingredients under the spices ingredients except the nutmeg. Crush the spices to a coarse powder. Place the powder in a small plate.
Take the spices and add it to a pot of water. To this, add the tea granules. Let it boil for 2 minutes over a medium heat.
Pour in 1 cup milk to the boiling tea decoction. Add a pinch of nutmeg at this stage. Let the tea boil for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.
Add the sugar (to taste). Mix and let it boil. Once it started to boil, remove from the stove.
Strain the tea using a strainer. Serve and enjoy!
*Note: to make it stronger, add more tea
