A Punch in the Gut

Ingredients
2 oz whiskey or light rum
2 oz cranberry juice
1/2 oz pineapple juice
1/2 oz orange juice
splash of ginger ale
orange slice or cherries, for garnish
Directions
Fill a shaker half way with ice.
Add all the ingredients, except the ginger ale, and shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
Fill a highball glass with cubed ice 3/4 way. Strain the cocktail into a glass.
Top with ginger ale and garnish with an orange slice or cherries. Enjoy!
Non-alcoholic option: omit the alcohol. You can also substitute and add 2 oz. of ginger beer and top with seltzer.
