-1 1/2 cups/ 192g italian sausage, casing removed and cooked
-6oz/ 177 ml cream cheese, softened
-4oz/ 118ml ricotta
-3 cups/ 88ml mozzarella, shredded
-1/2 cup/ 64g parmesan, shredded
-1/2 cup/ 64g marinara sauce
-2 tsp/ 10 ml italian seasoning
-1 tsp/ 5 ml garlic powder
-salt and pepper, to taste
-fresh parsley, to garnish
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked italian sausage, cream cheese, ricotta, 1 1/2 cup (192g) mozzarella, parmesan, marinara sauce, italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Transfer mixture to a pie dish or a medium-sized skillet. Spread evenly before sprinkling on the remaining mozzarella. Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes and then broil for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the cheese starts to brown.
Serve with sliced toasted baguette or chips. Enjoy!
