Garlic Butter

-1/4 lb salted butter

-4 cloves garlic, minced (or 2 tsp garlic powder)

-1/8 tsp salt

-1 tbsp chopped cilantro or parsley (optional)


  1. melt butter in a small sauce pan over low heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant for about 30 sec-1 minute (do not brown the garlic)

  2. Add the salt and cilantro/parsley (if you choose) and stir for 30 seconds or until well combined. Remove from heat.

  3. If you are using garlic powder, remove the pan from the heat and use a spoon to carefully remove the foamy layer from the top and discard the foam.

  4. Pour into a small bowl and enjoy!
