White Chocolate Picks

Prep time: 3 min

Cook times: 5 min

Ingredients

  • 2 oz white chocolate chipsfood coloring

EQUIPMENT

  • Disposable piping bag or freezer bag

  • Pattern printed on parchment paper or parchment paper

Vegan: These can be substituted with Vegan alternatives.

Directions:

  1. Melt the chocolate in either a microwave -safe bowl for about 2 minutes take it out and stir until smooth or a metal bowl placed over a pot of barely simmering water, stirring until smooth.

  2. Remove this from the heat and pour the chocolate into a piping bag or freezer bag with the tip cut off. You don't want the hole to wide.

  3. Line a tray with parchment paper and pipe the snowman, snowflake, and the square /diamond patterns seen on the picks designs with the chocolate, making them 1 to 2 inches in size.

  4. Repetition is the best practice to improve and create consistent designs. Chill the chocolate garnishes for 10 minutes to set. While the designs set, if there's remaining chocolate, divide into two small bowls, if there is not then melt more chocolate. Add black food coloring to one of the bowls and red to the other, mix well and set aside.

  5. When the picks are set, decorate them with colored chocolate. Add the details to each pick then place them back in the fridge to set. Once done GENTLY peel them off the paper and use them to decorate the cake.
