Vegan Pocky

1/2 cup/64 g flour

1 tbsp/15 mL Sugar

A pinch of salt

3.5 tbsp/50 g Unsalted vegan butter

3 tbsp/45 mL plant base milk


1/3 cup/50 g of vegan chocolate, melted

2 tbsp/30 ml Crushed almonds (or any choice of crushed topping)


  1. Add all the dry ingredients into a food processor and pulse two times. Add the chopped butter into the food processor and pulse two or three times it should resemble bread crumbs. Add the milk and pulse again

  2. Wrap the ball of dough with cling wrap and leave it in the fridge for 30 minutes

  3. while it sets preheat the oven to 350°F/176°C

  4. Roll the dough out until it's about 5mm thick. Form it into a rectangle shape, cutting off the excess dough on the sides. Then cut it into thin pieces about 5mm wide, the size and length of pocky.

  5. Place the sticks in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.

  6. Take them out and let them rest before coating them with melted chocolate and any other toppings of your choice, place them in the fridge so it sets! Enjoy!
