Vegan Lamb Skewers

Prep time: 35 minutes

Cook time: 12-15 minutes


-28oz/800 g plant based ground

-2 cloves garlic, crushed

-1 small onion, very finely chopped

-1/4 cup/ 59ml parsley, finely chopped

-2 tsp/10 ml ground cumin

-1 tsp/5ml ground coriander

-1/3 cup/78ml mint leaves, finely chopped

-1 clove garlic, finely chopped

-cooking spray


  1. Combine mince, garlic, onion, parsley, cumin, and coriander in a large bowl. Season. Mix until well combined. Form lamb mixture into 12x8cm sausage shapes. Place on a tray. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to shape. Soak 12 small skewers in cold water.

  2. Thread a skewer through the center of each lamb sausage. Preheat a greased grill, or pan on medium heat. Spray meat skewers with oil. Grill, turning occasionally, for 8-10 minutes until cooked through.

  3. Transfer to a large tray, cover with foil and rest for 5 minutes. Serve with tzatziki and enjoy!
