1 oz white rum
1 oz spiced rum
1 oz dark rum
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz passion fruit syrup (optional or try concentrated passion fruit/ maracuya or chinola parcha)
3 dashes orange bitters
1/2 oz grenadine
1/2 oz 151 rum (optional)
fresh mint, to garnish
N/A option: this drink is extremely difficult to make nonalcoholic but you can use all the juices named and add alcoholic alternatives or ginger beer or seltzer.
Place all the ingredients except for the grenadine and 151 rum in a cocktail shaker. Shake until cold.
Strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Pour the grenadine into the drink over the back of a spoon. Then (if using), pour the 151 rum over the drink (it will float on top and give an ombre look to the drink with the grenadine at the bottom and the dark rum on top). Top with fresh mint and serve.
N/A: to make the ombre look, you can use the grenadine on the bottom and ginger beer towards the top.
