Tae's Maitai

Makes 1


Ingredients (alcoholic):

  • 1 oz any gold or light rum

  • 1/2 oz orange curacao

  • 1/2 oz amaretto OR 1/2 oz orgeat (almond syrup)

  • 1/2 oz sugar cane juice

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • 1 oz dark rum

  • ice

  • garnish with a pineapple slice

Directions:

  1. Add a small amount of ice into a shaker. Add in all of the ingredients together except the dark rum and shake well. Fill your cocktail glass with ice and strain the mixture into your glass. Add some of the dark rum to the top as a floater. Garnish with a slice of pineapple. Enjoy!


Nonalcoholic:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda

  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice

  • 1/2 cup orange juice

  • 1 tbsp grenadine

  • ice

  • garnish with a pineapple slice


Directions:

  1. Fill a glass halfway with ice. Add in all of your ingredients, minus your pineapple slice (this you will use as a garnish). Enjoy!
