-coconut or canola oil
-freeze dried strawberries
Add strawberries, salt, and sugar to a food processor and crush until most of the strawberries are into a powder.
Add oil and kernels to a medium to large pot and cover with a tight fitting lid.
On medium heat, slide and shake the pot back and forth over the burner until the kernels begin to pop. Continue the process until the popping has almost stopped, then remove from heat. (*Wait until popping has stopped before lifting lid*)
Transfer popcorn into a bowl.
Bring the corn syrup and sugar to a boil on the stove. Stir constantly so that the sugar doesn't burn.
Coat popcorn with the corn syrup/sugar mix and sift the strawberry powder on top.
