Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Makes 1 cake


Ingredients:

Batter:

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 1 cup sour cream

Filling:

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup white sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans


Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, baking soda and powder, and salt. While mixing, add the sour cream.

  2. Prepare the filling.

  3. Grease angel food pan. Add 1/2 of batter and top with 1/2 filling and repeat. Bake for 40 minutes at 350F. Once done, take out of the oven and let cool. Enjoy!
