Cook time: 15 minutes


Ingredients:

-1/2 cup/ 64g flour

-1 tbsp/15 ml sugar

-pinch of salt

-3.5tbsp/50g unsalted butter

-3 tbsp/ 45ml milk

Topping

-1/3 cup/50g of milk chocolate, melted

-2 tbsp/30 ml crushed almonds (or any choice of crushed topping)


Directions:

  1. Add all the dry ingredients into a food processor and pulse 2 times. Add the chopped butter into the food processor and pulse 2-3 times (it should resemble bread crumbs). Add the milk and pulse again.

  2. Wrap the ball of dough with cling wrap and leave it in the fridge for 30 minutes.

  3. While it sets, preheat the oven to 350F/176C.

  4. Roll the dough out until its about 5mm thick. Form it into a rectangle shape, cutting off the excess dough on the sides. Then cut it into thin sticks about 5mm wide, and bake for 15 minutes.

  5. Place the sticks in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.

  6. Take them out, let them rest before coating with melted chocolate and any other toppings of your choice, place in the fridge till it sets. Once cooled and set, enjoy!
