Korean Iced Tea
Prep time: 10 minutes
Makes: 1 drink (syrup can make more)
-1 part green tea syrup (recipe below)
-2 parts soju
green tea syrup:
-4 tea bags of jasmine green tea or 2-3 tsp of loose leaf jasmine green tea
-2 cups water
-1/2 cup sugar
Combine 1 part green tea syrup with 2 parts soju. Stir thoroughly and add ice. Garnish with lemon slices. This makes a strong but sweet drink, so if you want, you can add water or sparkling water to dilute it, if needed. Enjoy!
Green tea syrup directions:
Combine the ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Run through a sieve and let cool.
Cover and refrigerate after making.
