1/2 tsp activated charcoal (optional)
3oz cream de cassis
1 oz Kahlua
1 oz ginger beer
2 blackberries, for garnish
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the vodka, cream de cassis, activated charcoal, and Kahlua. Shake vigorously for 1 minute and strain into a martini glass.
Top the cocktail with ginger beer, and garnish with blackberries and serve. Enjoy!
**Note: You can use blackberry simple syrup or mash about 5 blackberries until smooth and add it to the shaker as a sub for the charcoal.
To make it non-alcoholic, use blackberry juice and sparkling water. The ginger beer for the recipe is non-alcoholic.
