Prep time: 5 minutes
makes 3-4 cups
-2 cups vanilla soda
-2 cups cream soda ice cubes
-2 tsp butter extract
-4 tbsp butterscotch syrup + extra for garnish
-1 cup cream soda
-whipped cream, for topping
*tip: you can add 1-2 shots of rum per cup to make it alcoholic, if desired
Freeze the cream soda in ice cube trays.
Put all the ice cream, butter extract, 4 tbsp of butterscotch syrup, 1 cup cream soda, and the cream soda ice cubes into a blender and whip until smooth.
Pour the butter beer into a frozen glass and top with whipped cream and butterscotch syrup. Enjoy!
-1 cup sparkling cider or vegan cream soda
-2 tsp non-dairy creamer
-1/2 cup butterscotch syrup
-1/2 tbsp vegan butter or earth balance
-1-2 scoops non-dairy ice cream
If using vegan cream soda, freeze in ice cube trays.
Place butterscotch and vegan butter into a glass and microwave on high for 1-1.5 minutes or until the syrup is bubbly and mixed in. Pour the creamer in and stir for 30 seconds and allow to cool before using.
Put all of the butterbeer ingredients into a blender and whip until smooth.
Pour into a frozen glass and enjoy!
