Ingredients:

-1 cup cooked rice

-1 lb beef

-your choice of veggies, like:

*carrots, onions, bean sprouts, lettuce, cucumbers, etc...

-1 egg

Bibim sauce

-2 tbsp gochujang

-1 tbsp rice vinegar or white vinegar

-1 tbsp honey

-1 tbsp sugar

-1 tbsp soy sauce

-1 tbsp sesame oil

-1 tbsp sesame seeds

**Vegan option:

Omit the egg and beef and add more vegetables, like shiitake mushrooms or tofu for extra protein

Directions:

  1. Cut your vegetables into matchsticks and set aside.

  2. In a small bowl, mix your bibim sauce.

  3. Next, slice your beef, seasoned with salt and pepper then fry it on medium high heat, for about 5-7 minutes. Set the beef aside and clean your pan before frying your egg, making sure the egg is nice and runny (sunny side up).

  4. Warm your rice and place it in a deep bowl.

  5. Now assemble your bibimbap bowl, placing all ingredients on top of the rice. Drizzle the bibim sauce over the plate and serve. Enjoy!
