Makes 1 cocktail
1 oz gin*
1 oz ruby port
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
2-3 dashes cinnamon
1/2 tsp fine sugar
*You can substitute vodka for gin or omit spirit for a lower ABV cocktail
Muddle blackberries with cinnamon and sugar.
Add the gin, port, lemon juice, and sweetened blackberry puree into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.
Strain into a rocks glass over crushed ice.
Garnish with blackberries and mint.
